Sodalite dates back to ancient civilizations where it was linked to the ethereal energy that promotes the highest form of communication and self-expression. Said to be the Poet’s Stone, Sculptors, painters, and artists were known to carry Sodalite for inspiration. It encourages rational thought, objectivity, truth and intuition, along with verbalisation of feelings.

During the Renaissance, this particular shade of blue was considered a sacred colour (sacre bleu) and was often used to colour the robes of Mother Mary and the Archangel Michael, a warrior-archangel with a flaming sword.

Crystals have been shown to oscillate at their own frequencies, and even respond to the input of vibrations. So when we come into contact with a crystal, its vibration interacts with the vibration of the cells in our body.

When working on capturing the sound frequency of the crystals, first, I charged my hand and held the crystal. Then I applied the pads, which are connected to the biodata sonification device.
The device, working on the same principles as a lie detector reads the data and translates it into something we understand – music.
