A crystal of mystical lore and ancient legends, the Labradorite can be traced back to the native peoples of icy Canada that believed the stone was created from frozen fire, a result of the northern lights. With its pearly hues that shimmer in a range of iridescent blues and greens, the Labradorite is known as the Stone of the Magician as it links us to the spirit world, a dimension where anything is possible.

Crystals have been shown to oscillate at their own frequencies, and even respond to the input of vibrations. So when we come into contact with a crystal, its vibration interacts with the vibration of the cells in our body.

When working on capturing the sound frequency of the crystals, first, I charged my hand and held the crystal. Then I applied the pads, which are connected to the biodata sonification device.

The device, working on the same principles as a lie detector reads the data and translates it into something we understand – music.
